Private Notary

According to Minister of Justice Decision No. 76 of 2017 regarding the regulation of business licences and the obligations of a private notary, notary work is no longer limited to public notaries appointed at the Ministry of Justice.

Lawyer Ebtisam AlSabbagh obtained a licence to practise the work of a private notary from the Minister of Justice. Accordingly, the office provides services for documenting all contracts, powers of attorney and official documents and ratifying declarations, as shown below.

Powers of attorney

  1. Special power of attorney for lawyers
  2. Power of attorney for undergraduates
  3. Power of attorney to establish or manage a company or shop
  4. Power of attorney to drive, sell or buy a vehicle or ship
  5. Power of attorney for shares and vehicle registration numbers

Contracts

  1. Contract of a public or closed joint stock company
  2. Contract of a limited liability, partnership or limited partnership company
  3. Mortgage contracts for company shares, shops or ships (executive formulation included)
  4. Lease agreement documentation, sale of shops or ships
  5. Employment, scholarship and reconciliation agreements, sale of shares
  6. Marriage or divorce contracts for non-Muslims
  7. Cancellation and mortgage contracts

Declarations

  1. Housing presentations and documents, acknowledgment of receiving money, transaction cancellation
  2. Approval of assignment of shares or shops, non-mortgage releasing declaration
  3. Acknowledgment of indebtedness

Editing contracts, certification and legalisation

  1. Joint stock company contract documentation
  2. Internal papers, translator’s signature authenticity, date proof, salary certificates
  3. The system for a charity fund foundation
  4. Modifying the contracts of non-joint stock companies
  5. Modification contracts for non-shareholding companies (change of company form)
  6. Amending the memorandum of association of joint stock companies
