Expertise
Six core practice areas.

Our civil practice examines issues related to the relationships between people in a society, including contracts and other sources of commitment such as unilateral will, harmful (unlawful) action, enrichment without cause and the law, and all the rights and obligations that arise between the parties in terms of compensation and otherwise.
We draft, review and advise on agreements in Arabic and English, negotiate and document transactions, and represent clients before the courts of the Kingdom of Bahrain at every level of litigation.

Our labour practice examines the issues governing relations between employers and workers and regulating private employment affairs in the state. It includes the provisions related to employment offices and trade unions, as well as labour rights such as wages, leave, end-of-service benefits and more.
We advise both employers and employees, draft and review employment agreements, and represent clients before the competent authorities and courts.

Our criminal practice examines issues related to crime and punishment and the defence of the accused. It covers everything related to crime in terms of its general provisions, elements and types of felonies, misdemeanours and infractions, in addition to responsibility and the conditions or cases that exempt from or mitigate the crime, as well as punishment in terms of its types and forms, and the rules that define the acts considered crimes and the punishment prescribed for each of them.
We represent clients before the Public Prosecution, police stations and the criminal courts at all levels.

Our commercial practice deals with matters related to business and merchants: the meaning of the trader and his obligations such as keeping commercial books and registering in the commercial register, commercial businesses and their types, commercial papers, commercial contracts and commercial companies with their systems, the rights and obligations of their partners and the parties to the relationship, as well as bankruptcy and preventive composition.
We assist in forming and integrating commercial entities, draft incorporation contracts and memorandums of understanding, and advise on corporate governance, regulatory and compliance matters.

Our administrative practice examines the issues governing the administration’s work in relation to its provision of public services to individuals. It includes everything related to the management of public utilities in the state such as transportation, security, education and other facilities, the various aspects of public funds and the legal system to which they are subject, and the relationship between the state and its employees within the framework of public office, including appointment, promotion, staffing, discipline, dismissal and resignation.

Our family affairs (personal status) practice examines the issues governing family relations. It includes the provisions of marriage and divorce and all that branches out of them, from the waiting period, lineage, alimony, custody, guardianship and inheritance, to eligibility, wills, endowments and more.
We handle these matters with the discretion and care they require, and represent clients before the Sharia courts at every level.
